Clearstream – Deutsche Börse Group
" Photographic art is a source of inspiration "
Date of foundation : 1970
The company’s approach as regards art:
The Art collection epitomizes the corporate culture in which transparency, flexibility and creativity play key roles. More than a decoration, the works serve as a source of inspiration. They are an asset to the company, a knowledge and a know-how shared with employees and clients.
Some special exhibitions feature the works of younger artists. Deutsche Börse also sponsors exhibitions of photographic art in Europe. New works are always purchased in series in order to illustrate each artist’s individual style. The first selection of photography Deutsche Börse purchased was inspired by the Bernd und Hilla Becher’s School, featuring artists as Thomas Ruff, Andreas Gursky, Jörg Sasse, Axel Hütte and Candida Hoefer.
Works:
The Photographic Art Collection Deutsche Börse consists of more than 700 works, from more than 60 international artists and is not restricted to specific themes.
